For starters: the novel description that this was written from was not my first novel description. The first one I got was
It was every mother's worst nightmare. Annie's son had been swapped at birth! But it got worse: her charismatic ex-boss, Brant Cadman, was raising her real son—and she his! Brant made Annie an irresistible proposition—marry him. Annie knew both their sons needed their mom and dad. Plus, she couldn't deny the intense physical attraction between them…
And it sucked. You can see right there that it totally sucks. And then I started finding out that other people had HOOKERS and MAIL ORDER BRIDES and all kinds of good shit like that, and I was like, shit man, I got GYPPED. For some reason I kept thinking “mpreg!” and I would say “but I’m not ready to DO mpreg!” I even told my mom this.
(For the record: My mother’s solution to mpreg is “genderswap”. I am not even kidding you. I was telling her about this, and then about how I was going to have to write mpreg – because I talk to my mom about my fic, I don’t know. She used to read my Harry Potter fic, but I digress – and she was like, “what if you turn them into girls, and then they have the baby, and turn back into a boy!” and I was like, “mom, that’s not actually mpreg if they’re a boy. I’m thinking more like, assbabies.” True story.)
Bailey York needs a man. But only on paper. She's writing a romance novel and she's having difficulty creating a hero. So she needs a real-life model for her story. Parker Davidson is perfect, everything a hero should be. But he wants to become the hero in her life, not just her book. And not just on Valentine's Day, either!

PG-13; for the damnyouwentz Romance Novel Cliché challenge. Ryan decides he's going to write the Great American Romance. Only, he doesn't have a hero. And his boyfriend is a dick. Jon's antics at the Bux are inspired by real life events and the best damn Starbucks barista I have seen in my life. Thanks to iphignia939 for her fabulous beta. Thanks to tragedy for being my cheerleader and telling me that this title was okay. Trust me. Her suggestion was “Barista Boner”. No I am not kidding.

R; for the wtf27 challenge number 4: Wings. Still rolling with the "torture Panic! At The Disco for 27 prompts". For tragedy, who is the best friend a girl could ask for, because she wanted to see J-Walk with angel wings.
As a note, I have to point out that this is the first time I've actively tortured Jon in one of my wtf27 fics. He wasn't in the genderswap, he wasn't in the moulin rouge AU, and he took care of the nicer kitten in the kitten fic. And all things considered, he got off pretty light in this one. Or something.

After The Tone
Gerard Way; Mikey Way
G, for the we_are_cities november 7th, 2006 prompt, which I sort of took liberties with, a little, but you see where I'm going with this, right? This isn't slash, and it was never intended to be. I suppose you could choose to think of it that way, but that was not my intent.
For those who don't know: MCR stayed in a mansion called the Paramour while recording The Black Parade. Mikey had the misfortune of getting what both he and Gerard document as the most haunted room in the place. This proceeded to fuel a breakdown that Mikey was already well on his way to having. Mikey moved out of the house. All work on the record stopped and Gerard began having night terrors where he dreamt that he was being choked to death. He also claims that doors were slammed by no one in his and Ray's faces, and that Bob's shower was turned on while no one was in the house. That is where this fic came from.
